consider the situation in Nicaragua, and in particular, the ever-growing targeting of religious leaders and institutions critical of the Government, but also the media and freedom of expression;

identify the assistance (legal, humanitarian, and otherwise) available to those targeted and its shortfalls;

engage the UK Government and international actors with recommendations on assistance to the community, including through the UN Universal Periodic Review of Nicaragua, which has a stakeholder deadline of 8th April 2024.
